Peanut Butter Waffles

Simple scratch recipe that is inexpensive to make.  It takes only flour, sugar, oil, peanut butter, baking powder and milk. The waffles are easy to make because they don’t require extra work of beating egg whites or mixing batter the night before with yeast.  You just place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and blend.  Plug in your waffle maker and when it is hot you should be done mixing.  Kids love these when you use jelly instead of syrup.

I found the zoo animal waffle maker at a thrift store for just a few dollars.  I just put the batter in a plastic squeeze bottle that has a tip cap.  You can find them in the cake baking section in craft stores.  I just then fill the compartments letting the batter flow through the tip.

Actually pancakes and waffles are easy to make. You can go to the trouble of making waffles that rise up high in the waffle maker but this simple batter works fine making a crispier waffle. The batter was perfect for this animal waffle maker. If you end up with too many waffles just put them in the freezer to eat later. Thanks for your comment.

If you don’t have a waffle maker you can just make this into pancakes. Thanks for stopping in.
